Tarzan at Tuacahn

The kids and I went to St George last week with Chris to work. Not really, we ditched him at WalMart and went to play with Grandma Mary.

Grandma had mentioned to Lilly that maybe we could go to Tarzan. Well, Chris got a 3 hour lunch (day before inventory ... working extra hours that day) and came up to the house for a nap. When it was time to send him back to work Lilly told him we were going to see Tarzan. Poor Grandma had put it off as we didn't want to go. She called to see what seats were available. Four seats together were tough. They got us in the 29th row .... Grandma had never been that far away.

It was great. The kids were great. We had a wonderful time. We do have a bit of advice to pass on ... do not get tickets on the 29th row or row CC (same thing). Go farther back or call earlier in the day for better seats. They have misters on when you arrive and during intermission. We thought we were so lucky as a few seats down they were wet where the misters leaked. Well, they turn them off when the performance starts. Then they all drip while the system drains. Lilly and I were sopped. It was sort of OK as this was Dixie and even at night the temperature is well above 80 degrees. But we will be 1 row ahead or behind row CC in the future.

I didn't think about taking a camera to St George ... and my phone would not work in the dark ... after the show all the gorillas are in the lobby area for you to meet.

Plus little Will (turning 3 on Sunday) was very cute. He was so worried about baby Tarzan when the puma killed his family and the gorilla mom found him in the trunk. He even had a tear in his sweet little eye. He wanted me to go get baby Tarzan to help him. So dang cute!

He almost made it to the end but not quite as we arrived at 7am and the show ended at 11:20pm or so. Hanging out with Grandma Mary and Grandpa Zeek is too exciting ... we can't squeeze a nap in or we might miss something.

Can't wait for our next adventure with Grandma Mary and Grandpa Zeek.

Netflix

The people who live at my house are VERY TV addicted. We are not overboard yet. Today our new Netflix Wii disc arrived .... Will got first pick and we are watching Scooby Doo. Next will be Lilly and Hannah Montana. I have not decided what it will be for me. Also a DVD arrived today and we will be happily watching MacGyver tonight when Chris gets home from work. Got to love Netflix and unlimited live-streaming TV or movies for only $8.99 a month.

Picnik

As many of you know I am a "Blog Stalker". I frequent many blogs for fun ideas. Many of these ladies use picnik for their photos ... I thought I would give it a try. I had a good time and will be using this more as time permits. Here are the projects I made all by myself. Enjoy! (I used the comic book effect on both.)
