Winter Dance Recital

This is the ballet dance. She is having a blast with dance. Her favorite gal in the older group told us that she is an amazing dancer. Keep up your good work in dance Lilly.

This is the COWGIRL dance. Ann Marie asked Elise who sang the song they danced to ... she said "I don't know, some guy that sings too fast." She was right!!!! It was a really cute dance.

The Impossible Christmas Gift

Lilly is asking for a Zhu Zhu Pet for Christmas or her birthday (12-22). What will happen if I don't find the fabulous toy? I have no clue ... will it ruin the illusion? She said that Santa has 2 elves working everyday so each kid in the world can have a Zhu Zhu Pet. I have learned that when you see the first commercial for something this cool - go online immediately, order, and ship the dang toy before they are all gone!

Whoopsie Daisy

I am not too computer geek ... that said I accidentally deleted all my "blogs I stalk". Leave me a message so I can add you back on the roll. Unless you want me to take a hike that will be fine too!

Right now Chris is in the process of installing the trim on the fire place. When he completes this our house will be officially completed. That is until we decide to get the bathrooms remodeled (funding is the key to this project). I have a mental plan for other projects in the future.

I will post more later as the kids are playing on the stairs. TTFN.

A TV Dinner from my Cute Neighbor and her Sister

My Cute neighbor and her sister made this cute TV Dinner for us. I had to post because it was so dang cute. The drumstick was a doughnut hole, mashed potatoes had a Starburst butter patty and caramel gravy, the peas and corn were Skittles and orange Starburts.
To dang cute!!!!!

True Cowboy

Only True Cowboys sleep with their boots on.

My Costume

Here I am in all my glory. I tried to go to a Halloween Party but after waiting for Chris to get home from work got there and it was over. Good thing it was a simple costume. I just used a washable marker for my goatee and eyebrow.
Just a note ... washable marker is not totally washable when heavily applied.

Halloween 2009

Here are the cuties from our house at Halloween. Will would not wear his costume. It worked out OK as he had his camo jacket so everyone thought he was a hunter. On Friday we went to the Tricks, Trunks and Treats at Bradshaw Chevrolet only to wait in very long lines. Will had on his boots so they thought he was a cowboy. That works right. He tried on the costume the night we bought it but has been done with it ever since. We will try again next year. We also headed to Lin's where the employees had a trunk or treat. We filled our pumpkins with candy twice (Friday and Saturday). We had a great day and have candy to last through Christmas.

Hey, we just went on a little vacation to see the Mendenhall Family and the LeFevre Family.

Strange sightings

Check out our cool earrings!!!

The camera didn't love them, but we had fun!

Am I losing it?

Lilly had to call Chris today to rat me out for using the hair dryer when my coupons got wet. He said that I have a problem. Do I have a problem? Was it necessary for me to dry these coupons, just to save 10 cents on something (Chris' words)? Hey, more than 3 coupons were wet. It was 2 sets of 3 inserts. Let me know what you think.

Update In Random Order

Chris took us for a ride to see the fall colors on Sunday afternoon. Lilly was excited to bring her camera too. This is what we got before we ran into rain. I'll add her pictures later.
Lilly is a fairy!
My son is secure in his manhood!!! Boys can be fairies too!!!!
Lilly on the first day of school. The mean little bugger would not let me bring the camera to school. Here she is in the dining room. What a beautiful background. NOT!!!!!!

This is my cute little boy being, well a boy. It is a good dang thing that he is a little guy. This big truck is not meant to be a "ride on". Our house is clothing optional. Be aware of this option as you may not like what you see.
Here is a cute little family at the Glen Canyon Dam. This was the first morning of our long trip with Cindy and Jason to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. It was Chris' first time to see Lake Powell. Holy crap ... we live this close and the poor guy had never been there before. We need to use our new found 3 days off in a row to hook him up with another adventure to Lake Powell.

OK this is a peek into our activities. I hope you enjoy!

Dont say "shoppertunistic" to Chris

Hey, for those that don't know Chris has been promoted. He is now a co-manager at Wal-Mart. The only bad part (for us anyway) is that it is in the Washington City store rather than the Cedar City store. For now he will be commuting. I have pro and con lists for staying and for going ... now they are tied. Pro things include no snow, and warmer weather (plus Dixie is more "shoppertunistic" this is not a pro for Chris. He is not impressed that I could shop more there. I am not sure why not!) Con things are our house, and family are close. We will wait and see what time brings.

He works 3 days from 7 am to 8 pm then he has 3 days off. Wal-Mart is switching over to this schedule as managers are leaving the company for family friendlier companies. It looks like it will work well for us and will give us more family time.

So, when you are in Dixie stop by and say hi to Chris. He misses everyone here.

24th Parade

Dancing Queen

Here are a few shots of Lilly in the 24th of July parade. They did a cute little dance. She did a great job. She made it the whole way without stopping. We are proud of this girl.

Happy 2nd Birthday

SpongBob No Pants

When William was turning 1 Lilly told us he loved SpongeBob Squarepants. She knew that he wanted a SpongeBob party. We thought that she had wanted this type of a party. Now if you ask Will who his best friend is he will say SpongeBob. So I made him a SpongeBob birthday cake on the cheap. He it is in all it's glory. We had a nice party with Grandma Chewy, Grumpa Bill, Grandma Pebbles, Uncle Chuck, Aunt Fiona, Cody, Parker, Uncle Jon, and Aunt Vicki. I will have to get more pictures from Granny Frannie as this Mom never got the camera out.

"Say Cheese Mommy"

Lilly has her own camera. I will have to do new post with the pictures that she takes. She is her own little person. She has a large number of "babies" that she takes care of every day. Her babies have all different things wrong with them. She has some that "have" primortial dorfism and others that "have" brain tumors. Each day I swear that she comes up with something else. We have a handful of the babies that have different names and a few that always have the same name. Her kids that are always the same are Stella Isabella (named after the neighbor), Kelly (named after the door greater at Walmart), Jaclyn (named after Jaclyn) and Baby Will (named after her brother). She even used her own money to buy Baby Will a new outfit at the dollar store on Tuesday. She is a handful somethimes but she is her own person.

PLAYING WITH OUR FOOD

We decided that we needed a little entertainment a while back. Lilly and I used the Chow Mein Noodles to write our names. I think this may have been an idea from the parent class that we had while Lilly was in pre-school. Kristel gave us so many ideas to keep our little minds going. Though you may enjoy.
